In 2012, I resigned from my 15-year stint as the Des Moines Register‘s restaurant reviewer so that I could focus on my work as a cookbook author, food blogger, cooking-class instructor, etc.
Nevertheless, sometimes I find something so good on the Des Moines dining scene that I can’t keep it to myself. Therefore, now and then I’ll do a few “snapshot” reviews of restaurants I’ve dined in recently.
